We do not operate a portfolio database
Portfolio App is designed to keep your trades, holdings, cost basis, cash activity, dividends, and stock splits on your own devices. Aileen Studio does not require you to create an account and does not collect your complete portfolio or transaction history on Aileen Studio servers.
Local data and iCloud
The app stores portfolio data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, synchronization takes place through your own Apple ID and iCloud Key-Value Store. Aileen Studio cannot access the portfolio data stored in your iCloud account.
Market data API keys
You may provide your own API key for a supported market data service. The API key is stored in the device Keychain. When requesting market data, the app sends the ticker symbol and date range to your selected provider. It does not send your share quantities, cost basis, transaction history, or cash activity.
Notifications and background tasks
If you enable an analysis plan, the app may request permission to send local notifications about analysis results. iOS schedules background activity according to system policies. The app does not upload your analysis plan to Aileen Studio servers.
Import and export
You may import or export CSV and JSON data files. You are responsible for storing, sharing, or deleting these files. Handle exported backups carefully because they may contain your complete transaction and portfolio information.
Third-party services
If you configure MarketData.app, Alpha Vantage, Finnhub, or another market data provider, please also review that provider's privacy policy and terms of service. Aileen Studio does not control how third-party market data services process information.
